“Rock On” The Rick Stone Scholarship Foundation(501c3) rockonscholarship.org exists to sponsor Artists to work in a professional environment and to encourage, inspire and cultivate talent through “Ricks Rising Stars”. These Scholarships are awarded by providing Studio Time and Educational Opportunities to musically talented candidates at World Class recording Studio “Eagle Wind Sound”.
The Foundation was set up to Honor “Rock” (Rick Stone 1954-2020). Anyone who knew Rock, knows he was caring, generous, thoughtful, and always encouraging to everyone he came into contact with. Rock served the Winter Park community as a Top Instructor with NSCD, and headed up Security for the “Blues from the Top” shows for many years, In 2017 when Eagle Wind Sound opened it’s doors Rock generously and enthusiastically began giving his time to promoting the “Rising Stars”. Rock had found a new home as part of the Eagle Wind Sound Family. In 2021 Eagle Wind Sound changed the contest name to “Ricks Rising Stars”.
“Eagle Wind Sound” will be conducting the 5th annual “Ricks Rising Stars” Artist can simply submit a recording of their performance with mp3 by email. We are looking for Talent. As many as 6 prizes per year of 1 to 3 days of FREE recording Eagle Wind Sound Studios. Submissions are accepted from Sept 1, 2022-Jan 10, 2023. Submissions will not be accepted before contest begins.

Eagle Wind Sound will be hosting an Open House from 12-4 during Blues from the Top on June 24, 25, and 26th we are located just one block away from the Stage at 78788 US Highway 40. unit E our door is next to Le feet Lab.
